Good day my dear friends.  I would like to take this time to announce the begining of my reign as FARMER of the United States of America!  As many of you may know,  I have a new record out called 24 Carrot Dreams.  It feels like just yesterday I had the dream then a year and a half later here it is for all of you.  You can pick up your personal copy of the album today at sphereofhiphop.com.  I am also proud to anounce that I will be touring with one of my personal favorite artists,  Listener (Deepspace 5) on THE GUN AND KNIFE SHOW TOUR in February. 

I would like to thank all of you who went to the polls and voted for George W. Bush for 2008!  I know it was a long shot getting him in for a 3rd term but we worked hard at it and I really feel like he could make a comeback.  I want to urge all of you to continue to petition the government for more of the same.  Here’s a film we made to promote his campaign.

So we are throwing a hip hop event called THE HoLLA.  At the risk of overdefining something simple I’m going to attempt to explain what THE HOLLA is.  I have spent the last several years of my life working on a hip hop project called SPOKEN NERD.  One of the things that I have observed in this process is that the essence of hip hop has been quite distorted even from the begining.  I don’t know that I even have a proper understanding about the origins of hip hop so I’m just going to speak for emcees.  I’m also going to explain what emceeing is to me.  To emcee is to speak Honestly.  It is a social commentary.  It is satire at it’s greatest which includes some of our most sincere moments.

THE HOLLA

On 8-8-08 a group of hip hop fans will come together @ CAFE COCO to repent for our sins against society through hip hop.  Let’s face it!  We’ve spit whack rhymes!  We’ve bit people’s styles!  We’ve spit writtens and claimed them as freestyles!  We’ve focused more on ourselves and ignored the beautifull community around us! 

Leading up to the Holla we are fasting from whack raps, pouring out our 40’s on the curb and pulling up our pants in preperation for this event!  Please come and be a part of this event!
